Health and Well-being for All

Partnership for a Healthy Durham
The Partnership for a Healthy Durham is a coalition of local organizations and community members with the goal of collaboratively improving the physical, mental, and social health and well-being of Durham's residents.  Partnership for a Healthy Durham provides testing, training, seminars, information, and resources to Durham County residents about a variety of health and safety related topics.
Recently, the Durham Bike Co-op in conjunction with the Obesity and Chronic Illness Committee received the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Grant. This allowed the Durham Bike Co-op to carry out bike and pedestrian safety education at local elementary schools.
